Oh, man, @ECBG ,  treasure trove is right!!   Those shops, wouldn't you go wild there?   Love the atmosphere.  In some ways their antique shops have things that are different, but a lot is similar to ours.  As Joerg was walking around, I love the creak-creak-creak of the old wood floors.  Very reminiscent of some of the old shops I've frequented...

 

It's amusing that they both of them are so keen on antiques.  My hubby will go with me occasionally, and can get very interested in old tools, and in old books.  Otherwise, he leaves most of the gawking to me... 

 

Anyway, that was a great video, which I'm going to have to revisit-- there were so many great things.  Love the transferware, the Staffordshire figures they ended up getting ( so quaint) and so much more.  Thanks for the alert!
