The pitcher came and it's big!  There was SO much bubble wrap, I was afraid I was going to break it!

I was also afraid the pour spout or handle would be broken!

I couldn't open it for several days because my back gave me fits.

It's on an antique grain chest with big hand carved dove tails for now.

Im not @Oznell but that is magnificent. Is not my style but that pitcher and chest are gorgeous in every sense.

The bigger the better, @ECBG !  It is beautiful, (love the detail on it) and will be such a perfect recepticle for all your arrangements.

 

Do you collect old ironstone?  It would look so good with all your burnished woods.  Take care and try to have a recuperative weekend!
