@geegerbee there were 4 pages of posts in response to your March 9th post about the loud humming noise in your home that you were afraid and concerned about. Lots of advice and concern shown to you..

What has been the outcome? Ive seen you post on other threads since then so I assume no harm has come to you but youve not posted further about this that I can see ( excuse me if I missed it). Can you update? It may help someone else and also relieve everyones curiosity.

I hope all is well now. Thx.

Re: Calling GEEGERBEE -update?

@LizzieInSRQ.  It's very rude to ask a question or seek advice and never come back to at least thank people for their responses, and report an outcome, if appropriate.

Re: Calling GEEGERBEE -update?

Rude of YOU to tell me I didn't update and didn't thank people for their suggestions. Guess you didn't read the 2nd page of my original post where I did just that!!!

My other son came home and didn't hear it either. Since I don't hear it anywhere except my house, I assume it is not tinnitus. I have concluded that since my cable modem box is blinking yellow, that is probably the cause. I don't want to mess with that since the cable is actually working and I don't want to unplug it and get a red flashing light or might lose service altogether. My son said he would look at it.

Re: Calling GEEGERBEE -update?

@geegerbee   I was going to suggest your cable box because ours "hums".  It annoys me to no end,  especially when it is quiet in the house.  The company replaced their boxes about two years ago and this one hums.  It has to do with its internal components.
