I like the look of them and also serve as a room divider. However, not prepared to put in the time and effort to keep them organized and spotless.

@lolakimono

I love this kitchen. Years ago my husband's aunt and uncle designed their new home. I think they were ahead of their time. The kitchen had a very tall vaulted ceiling and they had cables suspending upper CLOSED cabinetry much like this picture.

I loathe having to use a step ladder to get something from a high shelf or cabinet.  That open shelving is a big fat NO for me.

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

No open shelving.... who wants to wash dishes BEFORE dinner?  I also strongly dislike the trend I've seen lately to use what looks like long brass hardware on gray or white cabinets.

Wow beautiful. It's a nice sized kitchen.

I like the kitchen, and the look of the hanging shelf, but would want it to be smaller, not in that location, nor used as shelving.

@lolakimono quite interesting and good looking.  I wonder if the cables move up and/or down as needed.

It looks nice, but for me. I don't like open shelving in a kitchen. Too much dust would collect requiring lots of cleaning. I also would be constantly worried something would fall off and break.
