Re: COLOR -- A LITTLE OR A LOT

I like them all also, my favorite color walls are the green in the living room and the pale pink walls with white trim in the other living room. My preference is for white trim and ceilings. Thank you @Oznell.!

I don't like the bright or dark colors, but some of the others are ok.

The first 3 photos are my favorite. I love the beautiful wood walls in the third photo. The way they did the ceiling is perfect with the wood walls. Such a warm and inviting room.

I find these rooms generally very pleasing but are overall a bit too much.matchy-matchy in terms of the color schemes.

The only thing that I really dislike is that blue plaid carpet on the stairs.  I couldn't tolerate it.

Re: COLOR -- A LITTLE OR A LOT

If I had a big, traditional house, I'd love wood paneled library/office.  Color in the hallway and guest bath, or any not often used room even bold color would be ok but where I live and work, kitchen, den, bedrooms, soft neutral all the way, a little powder blue and soft peach for accents.

So maybe 20 percent color in select areas and amounts.

Re: COLOR -- A LITTLE OR A LOT

While I love the use of color, most of the decor and prints in all the rooms just aren't my style so I would have to redo everything.  However, they are nicely done if that particular style does appeal to you.

I would NEVER have pink as a wall or decor color and probably very little, if any, green.

I like traditional because it stands the test of time. The kitchen is my favorite picture! Adding a little pop color with accents like pillows, throws or artwork works out well because it can be changed out more easily than painting walls or buying new furniture. I love looking at home decor, which is my favorite hobby for most of my life. Thanks for sharing!

Re: COLOR -- A LITTLE OR A LOT

I think that particular shade of green is unflattering to people's complexions although I like green accessories in a home.

I'd happily live in several of those rooms.
