I like (most of) the bones of the house and, of course, the view is absolutely beautiful.  None of the decor appeals to me...especially all the the shabby chic/pickled/whitewashed (whatever it's called) furniture.

This space is gorgeous, but it leans more Mediterranean‑elegant than coastal‑casual to me. I love the view, but the room itself is very ornate and sophisticated, not the airy, relaxed coastal vibe I usually picture.

The decor is very Restoration Hardware looking which is not my favorite style.  The view is stunning and I can promise you that the price is equally stunning.

Re: COASTAL ESCAPE

I googled the designer and she does a lot of work out of Southern California

Other properties show the same mediterranean-classic bones and various luxury appointments and treatments.

This looks consistent with a coastal property in any of several counties - Ventura, Los Angeles, or Orange County California.

Love it. I think it's all the natural wood that I see, and of course the Ocean out side, is the crowning glory.

This is just beautiful and so tranquil. I would, of course, add a little color here and there, but just a gorgeous home with an amazing view!!!

It's an impressive home, some lovely pieces and elements and an appealing location for fans of living on the water. I'm not a fan of a decorator 'Mediterranean' look and it's a bit too vanilla for me so I'll pass. I'd add the dining room could be more appealing to me with different chairs that aren't white.

If I had that property, I would want to have a more modern California-style to the home and decor.

I understand that Mediterranean look, but it seems dated to me, especially for that incredible location.

It's a beautiful home, but I definitely picture something else when I think of Coastal Escape! This home seems more formal, except for the "shabby" desk and the vanity in the small bathroom (I'm not a fan of that shabby style). The view is wonderful! What a pleasure it would be to wallk out onto that patio overlooking the ocean.

It is beautiful, but open air, plus the salt in the air...things rust and get yucky.
