The breezy living room by Mark Cunningham reminds me of a ship in full sail over an expansive view...
The French doors are such an asset on 3 sides of the room; love the well-stuffed comfortable couch and tribal blanket.
The generous proportions of the hall, turn it into a kind of gallery. Huge planters play up the exceptional spaciouness--
Nice kitchen. Not sure the skylights are really necessary?
I like the use of fewer, but oversized, accessories in the dining area, like the white pitcher and large, weathered bowl
Serene bedroom.
The den is a fun departure, velvety green and cozy. Can imagine a rainy day in California, curled up and watching movies here...
But the house in every way takes such beautiful advantage of the glorious outdoors...
The house is just a wee bit more masculine and rustic than I normally go for, but a lovely example of its type....

LOL!!! Masculine and rustic! Straight up my alley! I like most all of this beautiful house except that wrought iron chandelier and (I know...California...) the fact that the exterior appears to be stucco, my very least favorite housing exterior material. You are also dead on about the skylights in the kitchen. I like skylights even less than stucco! (Tied with ceiling fans!)
Love the colors, the furnishings, the accessories, the landscape. A really nice home.

Beautiful!
We had a few bar / restaurants in the Bay Area that had nautical themed ceilings like this.
Chuck's Steakhouse in San Mateo CA comes to mind; the place was also known for creating drinks that became well known nationally like the Hot Apple Pie with Tuaca, delicious. Perfect for the season.

I agree! The larger decorative objects are well-chosen and very effective. Everything is proportional as only a professional decorator can do effectively.
All together this is a place I could live in and enjoy!
Thanl you for sharing this!

Nice house. I like the kitchen, dining room and den areas the best. The hallway is interesting, too. I kind of like the skylights in the kitchen, but the one thing that does bother me in there is the size/placement of the light fixtures over the island. To me, they seem a little too big/low for the space.

I like the french doors and the view.

Beautiful I love everything about it.

I'd prefer a touch more color but for a "vanillaesque" home, this one is very well done.

I like most of this beautiful home but it looks a bit dull to me.Maybe it's just the photos.
The heavy drapes in the rooms and all those pictures in the Dining Room would have to go. My eye just goes to the framed art and I think it is suffocating the room.

I'm loving the Bedroom, the Den, and the Kitchen...
But I'd get rid of the huge Pendant Lighting and keep the Skylights. ![]()
