I have seen more and more of this pop up, with buttons and/or jewelry.  Here is an example using just buttons. What do you think of the idea?

It’s interesting to look at, but I wouldn’t buy it for our home. Of course, that depends on the object in the picture.

I like it------I inherited a ton of old buttons from my MIL--mostly in white , but in so many styles and shapes. they would really nice made into Xmas designs, I think.

Very pretty!  Colors are amazing and the detail is nice.

 

I have a plaque that has nails affixed to it, arranged to create the illusion of flowers (the nail heads are enamelled).  My Mom picked it up at a craft fair many years ago.

 

I just looked at the back of it and the creator says it has "over 280" nails.  It's really quite pretty.

 

I can't imagine how many hours . . .

It's a pretty rooster and a creative use of buttons... Would I want it? No. Would I spend my time doing it? No.

Very well done clever use of buttons.  Quite a conversation piece in a kitchen or family room.  I can only imagine how hard it would be to collect all if those buttons (unless they come in a kit).
