The good thing is, hubby does not complain about Slatkin candles burning, but he does about other brands.

Thanks so much, @nomar You and I sound like kindred spirits. I, too, have some Slatkin candles from back in the day that I've not burned either. Ha! They still smell great and some of them almost feel like antiques.  I do love all the pumpkin scents...fall/harvest types are probably my favorite. And I'm right there with you with the candle hoarding "issue." But I will be burning them steadily from now till next summer...I tend not to want to burn them in the summer as it's so dang hot where I live.

Just an FYI, @nomar, Harry Slatkin always waits until after Sept 15 to ship any candles so that they do not melt en route!

I enjoyed your story !!

My DH has 4 cars and two dirt bikes and two jet skis, so my Q purchases never amount to near enough to match his.  Also, having never had kids, our $ is for our pleasure!!!  We don't need to leave a drop behind!!!

These dang dogs! Mine will do the exact same thing. 

She loves everybody, but if there is someone delivering a package, it's like she's lost her mind. I mean, a mad serial killer could be bashing the door down, and she'd be wagging her tail and licking all over him, but let the mail guy pull in and she's letting the whole world know I'm sneaking out to hide the package! LOL

Maybe this will work for you, but I try to throw a food order in when I'm expecting a lot. Hubby never complains about the food!

But hey, at least your husband doesn't work at UPS like mine does. The driver tells on me every time he stops (co workers before wives or something like that?!), so me intercepting the packages first really accomplishes nothing! LOL

I am so proud of you for firing back that comment!!! I have finally gotten to that point, too!! I really got into a mess when we came home and there twelve boxes at the back door!!! I did not even flinch....I just looke over them quickly and went into the house. Went back later to move them into the house!! End of subject!!

I hear ya!!!  Mine doesn't ever pay attention ... I mean who buys new furniture, has it delivered & all arranged one day while he was golfing.  3 days later he said "is that new?"

🙈😳 I said "no it's been here 3 days!"

but if he hears the UPS or mail person pull up...he's like a darn dog he goes "You got a delivery"!

He is is recovering from surgery last week & oh my we are together 24/7 for another week...I'm running out of places to go! 

I just do my famous 🙄🙄🙄🙄😉😉😉

I'm still not caught up to that! LOL

edited to say, the brand new HD was in 2005 not 2013

but today he bought a 2016 HD Road King Cosmic Blue  it only had 2000 miles on it.  his old bike had 47,000 miles 

I talked him into it.

hey, I'm keeping score in my house!  Let's see $400/month (not including trips away) on golf x 12 months = $4800.  

Hmmmmm I've got a lot of catching up to do since he's been doing this 7 years now😉

He never says anything about my spending habits except when we get the cc bill this is his famous line "How many more 2.56 ez pays do you have?" He says it in jest ...I say "hmmm I think it was 6 ez pays - don't know when they stop showing guess there done!".  He just laughs because who uses ez pay for a $25 item...ME!!!

@homedecor1  I pay all the CC bills so he never sees or asks.   During Christmas in July he did say sometimes the deliveries scare him. LOL  too bad

I usually work at home, yesterday I had to work in the office. 

I came home to 8 boxes/bags. Mostly HSN.....  Boots, leggings, Olive Oil skin spray.  2 Amazon

He said Not one word.

@nomar this is too funny...I ordered several "as is" hurricanes last week and they all arrived at the same time...my husband say "UPS should be happy they have an extended warehouse now"  I just played like did not hear him...Enjoy your candles!!!
