As someone who shared a bedroom with a sister growing up, I think it's cool there's a bit of privacy, but overall I'd just as soon build a wall and make two smaller bedrooms if I were going to this expense.  

 

For those who say it would be good for a dorm room...have you seen dorm rooms these days?  I recently looked at the floor plans at The University of Kentucky, and I'd rather have what they have (with my own little bedroom) than what's in the OP.

I don’t like it.  Appears to be a huge safety problem....nothing to keep the sleeper from rolling off that very high top bunk.
