Broombi All-Surface Cleaning Broom, Dustpan & Mini 3 Piece Set - QVC.com

It may help with gathering up some hair, but it won't replace the need to vacuum, IMO.

I love my roomba!  It is the best and easiest way to deal with dog hair on my hardwood floors.

I bought and returned it about a year ago, not sure if it has been changed since then. Thirteen cats, 6 of them are long haired, we have enoug cat hair to weave sweaters. LOL!! The only think that I have found is my Dyson Omni Glide, or the hardfloor attachment on the Dyson vacuum. The omni glide is great because I can easily use it on my 3 sets of stairs daily, I am weak and this is lightweight so this is terrific.
