Re: Bread box and Canister set.....

Never used a bread box but years ago I bought a "tater and onion bin" and wondered whether to junk it when I moved recently.   Brought it with me and it's nicely hidden in a corner. The top is a bread box and I don't buy or eat bread often so I use it to store recipes!

As for canisters - I still have my old green Tupperware set hidden in my pantry.  It's ugly but I can't seem to part with it cuz I love that they seal when you "burp" them.

I have a "tater & onion" bin also. It was purchased at a flea market in Florida when I first moved there. I do use the bread box as my husband loves bread. But for the rest of it, I store bowls and Corningware, seasonal paper goods and serving platters. It looks really cute in my new, smaller kitchen and really comes in handy from a storage perspective. 😀

I bought it when dad lived with me and my sibs would come over a lot to see him.  In those days I'd buy a small bag of onions and potatoes.  Living alone now I buy onions and potatoes only one or two at a time so mine constantly gets repurposed as well.  I'm so glad I chose to move it here with me - you can't see it where it's located!
