Re: Border for Wedding Rings Quilt

@LilysmomI love, love, love that border fabric.  What a beautiful quilt this will be.  I'd use it as a bedspread for sure.  Make some shams from the border fabric.  Your choice of colors is outstanding.

I noticed you said you'd been swimming....isnt the lake water still very cold?  Brrrrr, I got chilled just thinking about it.

@Lilysmom  I'll send you my address and you can send it to me. (JK of course)

@grandma2pkmh, hehe.  Until I found the border, I wasn’t sure what I would do with this quilt.  I think I might keep this one.  LM

@riley1, the children’s quilts are always fun aren’t they?  So much color, animals, dolls.  LM

Re: Border for Wedding Rings Quilt

@Kachina624, we must have had a dozen bolts of cloth pulled.  I went down in the back and found the Batik.  It was the best color match for sure.

I am swimming at the Canada Games Pool.  Can’t wait til I can swim the lake but it will be awhile yet.  We still have some snow in the yard.  LM

Re: Border for Wedding Rings Quilt

Holy cow! How did I miss this post until today?

That is beautiful! I love the border the quilt and the entire look.

I'm so amazed at the talent of people who can quilt like this. All those pieces and everything has to be done so perfectly.

I'm always willing to pay a lot of money for a truly hand done pieced quilt, as it is such a huge labor and undertaking.

Amazed in love, and envious!

Re: Border for Wedding Rings Quilt

@Lilysmom - are you going to scallop the border or square it off?
