I was up early this morning, got my swim in, and headed to a fabric store to buy material to use in the border for my quilt.  Should have done this before I started the quilt in late Fall but better late than never.

After looking at many different options, I settled on a beautiful Batik dusty rose.

Apologies in advance.  The quilt is not pressed and neither is the new fabric.  What do you think?

@Lilysmom I love the fabric in the main part of the quilt and the border print is perfect. You have talent and a good eye for color. It is well balanced and beautiful.

Beautiful quilt and I do like the border fabric.   I quilted years ago but have not made anything for quite a while.  I love fabric!!

Great choice! That border fabric makes the fabric in the quilt "pop".

I'm now working on two quilts for my twin gd 3rd birthday. However, these have just basic solid borders - easy peazy.  Just finished a quilt for their sister's 6th bday which is at the longarmer.
