I'm not sure how many I have, but when I emptied my bedroom bookshelves onto my bed to reorganize the bookshelves, the weight of the books broke the bed. I'm pretty sure my house would rise up a few inches if I took all of the books out. I've got three bookcases in my bedroom, three in our family room, and lots of books just lying around.

When the ereader came along, I buy my books that way. I have a bookcase for visitors but have given almost all of my other books away. They take up a lot of space! Having said that, I do love books still! LM

In our plan we asked the HOA to buy some bookcases for the clubhouse. Now many residents bring the books they have read there and we have a lending library where you can get all the newest books on the bestseller lists. People have been very good about taking good care of the books they borrow and keeping the book shelves neat and organized. We do have one lady who voluntarily makes sure the books are kept in order and keeps them dusted. So many books have been donated that we now have 4 bookcases.

I love books and have ever since I was a young girl. My mother would take my sister and me to a small book store and we were allowed to pick out a book each whenever we were in the area. I still have my books from that time decades ago.

I have a lot of old books which I used to buy at book sales at school where I worked and now use them for decoration. I place family photos on them and have been doing that for a long time.

I do donate some books when I finish but the books I really love I keep.
