I've mentioned many times that I love most shades of blue.  I'll be in my home for two (2) years in April and I've gravitated to a lot of grays an blues while decorating. My white cabinets were in excellet condition so I kept them.  But I love looking at possible options for the future.

Navy blue to me is classic and timeless.  It works well with several colors and styles.  Your hardware can be silver, gold, or black.  It all works with navy.

Or you can choose a lighter or brighter shade that livens up a kitchen but still look great 10 years from now.

I also like the blue island trend.  It adds color and contrast but is still timeless.

Colored appliances are usually iffy for me but I really like this range.  It pops and is a great contrast to the white cabinets and counter tops.  I'll just ignore the yellow table and ceiling.

I just really love the powder blue cabinets in this kitchen.  If navy is too much for you this is a great option.

I think I would get tired of the dark navy cabinets.  I do however like the light blue/gray cabinets.  I love shades of blue/gray.

@liliblu I am a big blue fan too.  My main bathroom in every house I have lived in has always been blue since I have been married.

I once had my kitchen walls painted blue, but I have cherry cabinets.  I've noticed that  blue is getting really popular.  I have been looking for a new bathroom vanity and many of them are navy blue.  That surprised me.

I love all the blue kitchens you posted, especially the first and last one, and that range is to die for.

There are many posters on this forum who do like like blue for decorating, but not me. Blue beats the heck out of beige and gray any day, IMO.

Thanks for posting.

My kitchens have always been blue.  I have white cabinets and when we built this home in 1996, we had navy laminate counter tops.  I have upgraded to a black/grey/white granite, updated cabinets that are still white and use blue as my accent color.

I am obsessed with collecting cobalt glass and I have it almost everywhere through my home.

The last backsplash is too much for me in that big of a space, but I do like the blue!

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it

If I'm going to have a navy blue kitchen, I prefer the cabinets to be a true (darker) navy blue.

My kitchen is blue and gray, and I've always had a blue kitchen. I like all of the pics posted.

I like all of these. I just had my kitchen redone and I had my upper cabinets painted a soft white and the lower ones barn red. I love it!! I have a copper farm sink with copper faucets. Antique bronze light fixtures with Edison bulbs. The handles are antique bronze with copper bands on each end. Everyone that sees it says it is gorgeous and they are so surprised because of the red!!
