I do. To get any chemicals out of the fabric before it goes on my bed. It usually softens the blanket as well.

Yes!  I wash all bedding and clothing before using the items.  As others have mentioned you never know where the particular product has been along the way and who has handled it .  A few years ago I had purchased a quilt from the Q and it literally had little tiny insect things in the folds.......I am still not over that one, it freaked me out for sure.

I also wash everything before using or wearing. To me a lot of items have a chemical smell.

Are blankets washable?  I thought they were dry-cleaned.

I always wash items  before using.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I wash all cloth items before wearing or using.  I dont want any bugs from a foreign country in my house.
