I used one to fix my toilet.   No kidding.

The flapper chain in the tank is a bit too long and always getting hung up then the toilet runs.

So I cinched it up a bit with a binder clip and it's fine.

That was months ago and it's still OK.

I have a drawerful at work, I don't like staples.

I also use them on an open snack bag

I have worn them out.   I think I've used a small one to do a job meant for a bigger one, then the small one got wonky.  Useless  My bad.

Daughter uses them all the time, but with my arthritic hands I can't even get one open. I use clip clothespins!

I use them when baking to keep parchment paper up the sides of my pan. I use other places, but, I mostly use them for baking. (a tip I learned long ago from Martha Stewart).

Definitely chip clips! Or,opened dry macoroni bags, cereal inner bags, or frozen food bags.

Hmmm, actually never thought of the toothpaste tube! Good idea.

Oh, and I used to use the large ones when camping to hang out wet towels or clothes on a line. ( ha, half the time anyhow .... could never find those clothes pins until I got back home!).
