What do you think of this room? It came up when I Googled “quirky rooms”. 

I give them credit for creativity & repurposing things, but I don’t really like the design elements. I don’t like the hanging bicycles, the suitcases on the wall, or the metal door. 

I’m not loving the furnishings either. The sofa seems to sit very low to the floor. The chair looks like it was randomly splattered with paint. Guessing that was the intent. The coffee table also looks like it was repurposed.

I think it's on the cusp of being art, and I think it's clever; my opinion of the room is based on that and not whether or not I'd have this exact room in my own home. The ceiling & stairs make me wonder if this room is in a basement. What an interesting room for a basement.

There isn't anything I like about this room, the furnishings and decor and bikes hanging are distasteful, a big NO for me.

It is quirky though, I'll give them that.
