Beware - Air Innovations Swirl Cool Fan

A great fan - doesn't blast you in the face - BUT this unit has two mjor issues - it's  top heavy and could fall over on a child and  the leg connection locks are very sloppy,  If moving fan, leg poles come apart - - so I'm putting a little Krazy Glue down each pole leg. We hear about dressers falling over on little people - well this fan is a danger too.

Good reminder especially for people with small children and pets. Items we do not think of as falling over can when these are in your home. climb , jump, bump Smiley Happy

I do not have the brand you mentioned , but a Holmes brand (purchased at the Q) that looks as though it was seperated at birth from this one. It is wonderful for cooling. I stopped using the stand when the 'clicky' things to hold it stopped holding tight and it would always be slanting.

Luckily it is very light and less likely to really hurt anyone it might fall on.

OKAY - I'll just assume an 18 month old baby won't be hurt much if it lands on his/her head.....so why worry.

i would not leave a baby alone near ANY fan or heater......no matter how sturdy i thought it was.

@sunshine45 ita, there are times we assume something then look back with regret at our assumptions. Something hitting a baby's head or small pet could be a very different injury than if it fell on an adult.
