Bethlehem Lights Timers

Has anyone else had problems with the timers on their flowers? I have the petunias and the lights stay on all night, then turn off for awhile, then come back on a little while later, etc. I have the gernaniums and they stay on for a little while and then start blinking and stay on. I've had this problem quite a bit. They work fine for awhile, then start coming on and turning off at odd times or they start blinking. I've tried turning them off for awhile and resetting them, but it doesn't help. I love these flowers but am very hesitant to buy any more.
