NO way would I EVER get on my hands and knees to clean a floor!!!! I used whatever I was mopping my vinyl floors with on the tile. and I used my hurricane mop or whatever it's called. The one that spins in the pail --that thing was the best invention ever!!

@wagirl      I am SHORT, and have given myself a couple black eyes using a mop.    di

I am SHOCKED to find there is another woman besides me, who gets down on the floor with a scrub brush (!!!)

I use a commercial cleaner like Lysol or Mr. Clean.       di

@Desertdi Separated at birth!  Twins! Woman LOL  You just gotta do it a few times a year!!!!!  I have a brush on a handle, but sometimes you have to get right down there and scrub!  Just because you feel better!

@Sooner

Yeah!    And I know my grandma is watching me from "above"...    di

@Desertdi Not either of my grandmas, one died before I was born, but mother!  We didn't have much but what we had was clean!  And my uncle, who scrubbed my aunt's floors!  Woman Happy

@Desertdi Yeah, I ran out!  But it wasn't that bad.  Better than dealing with the floors of the horse stalls.  Been there done that.

Yesterday I washed the glass panes in the outside doors and cleaned the thresholds, facings etc.

Re: Best Cleaner for Tile Floors?

@Desertdi Too funny!  After I finish Fall yard cleanup that is my next job.

 This weekend while working in the yard I lost the connector piece on my leaf mulcher making it inoperable.  I think it got thrown in the compost pile.  Looked everywhere, no luck finding it.  As soon as I buy a new machine (can't replace the part), it will show up.  If I go any deeper in the compost pile I may disappear...

I think that means I did enough yard work don't you?

OH MY!    I have to tell you something I did.     My "big" vacuum cleaner wouldn't turn on.   I was frantic (it's not that old).

I practically took the whole thing apart...and then I realized the last person who used it was a worker on my renovation project.    Don't know exactly WHY he did it....but the suction setting was turned OFF.   di
