Best Cleaner for Tile Floors?

I'm doing my fall cleaning.  The deep clean sort!  So I'm wondering what is your favorite cleaner for bathroom tile floors?  The kind for a brush and a bucket fall/spring clean, AND the mop kind for in-between.

Thanks for any advice!

Vinegar and water is my favorite.  Floors end up squeaky clean with no tacky residue.

I am SHOCKED to find there is another woman besides me, who gets down on the floor with a scrub brush (!!!)

I use a commercial cleaner like Lysol or Mr. Clean.       di

What @In-x-s @says.  The guy who laid my tile told me that was the best way to clean tile.

@Desertdi.  I also get on my hands and knees to clean floors...how do the baseboards get clean if not on your knees?

My first floor is mostly tile, a steam mop does wonders,as far as a cleaner  i like odo ban. Odo ban, also gets rid of bacteria.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Re: Best Cleaner for Tile Floors?

When I lived in the west coast desert, I found tile floors to be challenging. I had tile in every room except the bedrooms, where the floors were wood.

The tile itself was easy enough to clean, but the grout was a real pain. I had large almost white tile with light gray fleck lines, so the grout was light too. I took the grout cleaning a room at a time, using a brush and Mr. Clean on my hands & knees. When I was done, I regularly resealed the grout.

I made sure not to have any tile in my current house.

Re: Best Cleaner for Tile Floors?

NO way would I EVER get on my hands and knees to clean a floor!!!! I used whatever I was mopping my vinyl floors with on the tile. and I used my hurricane mop or whatever it's called. The one that spins in the pail --that thing was the best invention ever!!
