I second the vote for the Hotel Collection from Macy's. I use bath sheets, too, and these have held up very well.

Prior to buying Hotel Collection, I would buy Ralph Lauren towels (and bath sheets). I was always pleased with them.

I recently bought leopard-print hand towels from Pottery Barn for the downstairs half bath. They are very thick and substantial.

I will check out PB, thanks, maddie.

I've been happy with hand towels that I've purchased at Home Goods over the past few years. I also update our washcloths fairly often, too.

I am a towel snob. I only buy Ralph Lauren bath towels, the extra large ones. I love them. I have all white. They are 100% cotton which is very absorbent and so nice. I love big huge spa bath towels and RL makes the best ones. We use a clean bath towel, every time we shower. It's just a "thing" for me, I just like having a fresh towel with each shower. So I have a closet full of RL white bath towels.

I hate towels that have any poly content or are made from anything like bamboo or other materials.

I bought some bamboo towels to try them. They are expensive but they are lovely. They take forever to dry though.

Hi Ima--Where do you purchase your RL towels? Just curious. Smiley Happy We've purchased ours at the RL outlet over the years.

I love Costco towels, so soft large and they dry so quickly! Plus they have a design on them and they are not just one color. My fav.

I've purchased some very nice bath-sheet sized bath towels at Overstock.com. They are great quality Egyptian cotton. I've had mine for quite a few years. I purchased them in peach, burgundy, and black for my bathroom and navy blue for my husband's bathroom.

Considering the quality, they were quite inexpensive. After all these years I don't see any breakdown in quality, thickness, or durability. I like Egyptian cotton, though. Some might not.

Overstock always has great quality linens and such for great prices, too. I will go for quality over price every time but if I can get great quality AND a great price, I'm in. Smiley Happy

Yes the Charisma towels at costco, they are so pretty they look like guest towels, and I use them for my shower! Love I can use in the morning and they are dry in a few hours. Our other towels never dry!

I'll buy Wamsutta occasionally. However my favorite towels are from a catalog company called The Company Store. Their towels are long lasting, lush, and soft ... superb!
