Berkshire throws - fuzz?

Does anyone elese have trouble with constant fuzz coming off your Berkshire throw? If they weren't so soft, I'd send it back in a heartbeat. I am always covered with yellow fuzz whenever I use it. Does this EVER go away?

I just got my Berkshire throw out of the dryer. I have not had any problem with fuzz. The first time I washed it prior to using, I had no fuzz in the dryer.

I have washed mine at least 6 times, and it still fuzzes. Very frustrating.

@miss ellie I can't begin to tell you how many Berkshire throws I have. Love them all, never a problem with shedding. Which one do you have? Do you have an item number? Just curious if it's a throw I have.

Never ever have I had any problems with any of my Berkshire throws - and I have MANY! I wash & put in my dryer as usual. I don't even get fuzz or fuzz balls/lint in my dryer from their throws.

Are you using softener in your washer or dryer? I have never had this problem with the many throws I have.

I have a Berkshire throw and haven't had that problem. Do you wash it in cold water and dry on low? Make sure you don't use fabric softener. That could be the problem if you did.

I have two and never noticed any shedding at all, even just out of the box. That is a dealbreaker for me.

Right now I have one on my bed and the other right next to me on the couch. They are getting used almost every day.

I’d return or exchange yours. All that shedding isn’t normal for these throws; it is a defect.

@miss ellie I havn't had that problem, but in my opinion, the Berkshire throws of several years ago were much thicker and nicer than what I have seen recently.
