It's possible the walls and ceiling are dark blue?  But on my monitor they look black, and I don't really like them with the blue chairs.  Ditto the bright white trim next to the natural or ecru or cream curtains-- not harmonious to me.

A tweak of the colors would make it a very pleasant nook, I think...

Blue is my favorite color, but this look is too severe for me.

I don't dislike it, but I think I would prefer a cozier chair to cuddle up in when reading.

Navy is my favorite color! Those windows (and drapes) are gorgeous. This would work perfectly in my life. Thanks for a great post, @stevieb

@stevieb Have to admit, I am opinionated when it comes to home decorating.

I hate this room! Too dark and I don't like that stye of chair at all. I don't like drapes. OK I'm done
