BTS, Well, it is going to be a no on the Lenox tree for now. It looks so much better in the video than in the pics, and the lights do appear uniformly lit although subtle.

A small voice in my head keeps asking why the branch tips wouldn't be snowy white on a white tree. I will probably wait for reviews. The trees on the Texas site are so nice and are very similar to my L/XL one and my grandma's white tree with multi-colored birds.

Anyone who ordered it, please give a review when you get it.

I didn't order it yet either, SHOPR.  I think I want a traditional green tree like you have instead.  I'll wait for reviews as well.  I see it's still on easy pay.  I'm not working this weekend & that could be dangerous!

That would be me with the clear lights on a white tree.  I'm just not a fan of multi color lights.

This is the tree that made me decide not to order the Lenox tree at this time.  I think this is very striking!  I wonder if that is the exact hue of white?

The photos you are posting from Texas Ceramics are beautifil.  I  used to love going to ceramics, and made many different trees for friends and family.  Unfortunately, all the ceramic studios where I live have closed.

How awesome you got to make these!  Gives me an idea for a new hobby in my off time!

I love all these ceramic trees. They remind me of the ones we would buy (and make) back in the day. My house was filled with these when I was growing up. My dear departed aunt made beautiful trees and Santas that my mother still puts out every year. I started taking ceramics class after she passed and began contributing to mom's collection at age 10!

I am in awe, PeterDM!  Another poster spoke of making these so now I am excited to check out how to make my own.  I can't imagine how beautiful your mom's house ( & yours!) is at Christmas.  Thanks for the inspiration!

My tree is multi so I don't know for certain, but these trees usually use incandescent bulbs in the base, so that may help you imagine what color to expect.

Here is a pic of one of the replacement bases on their site and the bulb they use or recommend.  I just use a 40 and sometimes 60 watt standard soft white bulb in mine which is around the size of an XL tree on their site.

Yes, the hue of the white can be a deal breaker for me.  I like the warm lights not that awful (IMO) bluish hue.  I love the white trees with nice clear lights.  They are so elegant and add some silver  and I'm good to go.  BTS, I hope you love the one you choose.

Mini ceramic Christmas tree in red, green and white, peppermint theme with snowflake star

JPC; would Mr. Crazy eat the "candy" off of this tree?!?! Lol!

It would be difficult to digest, I'm sure.  Poor Mr Crazy, does he ever read any of these posts?  :-)

Who knows what Mr Crazy would do, I would probably have to put a fence around the tree or maybe get a guard dog. Smiley Happy  Nope, Mr Crazy doesn't read any of these posts.  (I don't think)  Guess I need to watch him a little closer.

You probably all know that there are some wonderful trees on ebay.  Several years ago, I bought a huge green tree there on a musical stand, mint condition, for about $150, and all things considered, this was a steal.  Some are priced way to high, I just lucked out on the Buy it Now that was just listed, after looking for many months.

I like the Lenox tree, but the green tips are a deal breaker for me.

Wow SHOPR, a huge thanks for doing some researc, you are the best!  I think you cleared up my question.  I do not like a blue-white hue, again much appreciated!
