There is a product sold here and many other places for destroying toilet odors at the source before they 'begin'... won't name the product. I will say that I have purchased several of this product in different scents - the problem is that they all seem to smell the same...and they are costly, and after a while the scent gets to be a bit annoying and not really working so well. Before this product, I had used Don Aslet's XO Odor and done the same thing...spray the toilet water before someone uses it. It does a great job, destroys the odor and doesn't try to 'mask' it like I've decided the other product does....and it's much less expensive. ...Try it.
