Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

Ladies, can someone tell me which of the hand soaps no longer have the triclosan or any anti-bacterial stuff? Is it the "gentle foaming" or is it one of the others?

Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

I really love this thread! Thanks for all the recommendations. Has anyone seen what neat bag they will be offering on Black Friday? I haven't been able to get a glimpse. I was hoping to restock my handsoaps and buy a few things so I can get the bag. I appreciate all the advice and recs for the scents. This is perfect timing!

I buy BBW pump soaps for my small office women'S bathroom. We have three sinks and I have found that we all tend to wash our hands more when we have fun soaps! It's my way of keeping us healthier in the office. I have purchased every scent except vanilla so I can tell you that the Christmas scents this year are exceptional! I can't abide the vanilla scent in anything except real baked goods. Lol

Someone will correct me of I'm wrong, but I dont think their soaps contain that at all anymore.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

A clerk told me there was some kind of legislation regarding calling a soap anti-bacterial. So they don't have it anymore.

Regarding the hand soaps - I bought the frosted pumpkin and some other frosted ones that aren't mentioned here. The bottles alone are worth the price of admission. They have frosted fruits and glittering trees on them and will look so pretty in my powder room. I bought two bottles each of three new scents. No bottle holders needed with these. The designs are too beautiful to cover up.

Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

My problem is I can't smell any of them before i buy as we don't have a store on island. And I don't care for the seasonal wintry packaging. I like my soap bottles to go with my tropical Hawaiian Island bath decor.

That said, last year I did order a cranberry one I loved. There were 2 and now I don't remember which one I liked best.

The Mixed Berry Tart sounds really good but I looked it up and don't like that bottle at all. Cherry Almond Shortbread sounds divine. I need to go look up a pic of the bottle. There'a a seller on Ebay I usually order from but she doesn't have pics of new scents.

Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

The more I used Cherry Almond Shortbread, the more it smelled strongly of perfume. I returned my unopened bottles and bought yet more Mixed Berry Tart and Lemon Meringue Cheer. I seriously need an intervention for how many bottles I've bought of those two.

Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

I just bought 7 of hand soaps, 4 Kitchen lemon and 3 of Vanila bean Noel..I won't use any other hand soaps now since I've been introduced to BB&W soaps.

Did you know they brought back the body scrubs in Holiday traditions fragrances? I bought 3 of Vanilla Bean Noel and it is the BOMB! They come in a tube.

Re: Bath and Body Works hand soaps

I just buy new soaps scents 6-pack bundle that they've started offering nowadays. That way I don't have to choose!

I also water them down 50% with distilled water to make them last longer.

I have no idea how my husband gets through so much soap. He can get through a bottle, by himself, in less than a week. He's only gets back from work at 9 or 10ish and he's out the door again at 6.30am. What's he doing with it?!!
