@rochelleS  I just learned about these last night from another thread about Slatkin candles.  I ordered one from Amazon but like this one better.  Might need to go and check out our Costco.

I also went to BBB today and picked up some of their candles.  Excited to try this out .

@Seminole2  The price for the BBW 3 wick's are the lowest during the annual Candle Day event. For the last 2 years they have held the same price of $9.95. It's a very popular event.

Have you received your Amazon lamp yet? The one thing that's nice is the huge variety of style/color options on Amazon.  But I do really like the Mikasa offer at Costco alot. Clean lines that suit me and my decor. Tidy footprint that'll even work in my small powder room. All the features of the pricier options makes this a very graceful purchase as well.

I have a decent candle stash and have no plans of purchasing more now. That'll surely change after I get my lamps up and lit.

Which Slatkin thread did you learn about these lamps? I'm always curious what others share here, if you don't mind. TIA

Which wallflower scents do you like and purchase? It's difficult to sometimes buy sight un sniffed, if you know what I mean.  I've been disappointed in the past when descriptions didn't quite pan out to my expectations.

@Calibeach

Good luck today at Costco. Hopefully you'll be able to grab as many Mikasa lamps as you need for your holiday gifting! Do note the item# is included in my pictured post if needed.

If you're a fresh baked goods kind of gal

.

DO check out their croissant base blueberry cheesecake 6pk in the bakery. About the size of a "danish" but not nearly as sweet. Perfect with tea or coffee and makes a lovely presention on a holiday table. They're actually very pretty! The Dubai chocolate in the 1lb brown printed bag is to die for. Individually wrapped and my store quickly sold out. Haven't tried the 1lb boxed option yet. I liked the individual wrapped choice for slipping some for a sweet gift. Worth the calories.  Let me know how you fare with the lamps.

@rochelleS  I like how the lamp has a timer. Might get a couple for me if it can fit nicely in the bathrooms.

Thank you for the info about the bakery and candy. I will take a look. We love the muffins.

I bought a couple of bags of the Pistachio Lindor truffles at Costco to use a stocking stuffers. They are not exactly like a Dubai, but still very good. Did you see them?

@Calibeach  that's okay!  I was near a store yesterday and it was packed.  Gives me an opportunity to smell and pick the ones I like.

Our Costco here in Central Florida does not carry the Mikasa warmer.  Will stick with the one that should be coming tomorrow.  Thank you again!  Happy Thanksgiving

@Calibeach

My powder room counter top is not big and I'm sure the Mikasa lamp will be fine there

 My Costco shopping stuff is in my car but I'll take a Pic when I unload. When in doubt grab what you want and maybe more when at Costco. No guarantee it'll be there if you go back for more. This is such a sweet  item at even a better price with a good clean style + the remote timer with brightness options.

 Told ya I should have bot more. I'll Instacart an additional order.

No! I didn't realize the Pistachio Lindoor truffles were a Dubai-like candy. Saw on line but didn't pay attention. You've got my attention now. Currently not available in my store or online but keep an eye out for Kinder Bueno.  Chocolate covered  hazelnut filling in a thin crunchy wafer. Looks like a stylized tootsie roll. A German product, very popular in Europe. Comes in a larger rectangular box with two in each packet. I call it my poor man's Dubai chocolate.  Very good!!!!

The The croissant blueberry cheese cake is not a muffin. Looks like a "danish" shaped pastry. Maybe a couple inches thick. I remember you'd mentioned the Costco pumpkin muffins a while back. I wasn't very impressed. I've had much better. These were rather dry and lacked in flavor. Unless one likes that kind of muffin save your $ and calories.

I posted a few others Costco goodies to Pecky on the Nails Inc thread that you may enjoy too. I'm always concerned about going too much off topic and offend posters. But geez there's so many great Costco  items I'd love to share.

If you want to start a generic Costco Shopping thread in Among Friends or another general forum,  I will be happy to participate. Or post wherever it's convenient for you
