If you have one how do you like yours.  I have a space that will suit one perfectly but wonder if I will like it or if it will be an unhappy purchase.

Thanks @lolakimono.  I had no idea that's what those chairs are called.

A friend has one of these chairs in her living room.  they are beautiful, and "call you to sit in them.  I did choose it at a gathering, and felt like a queen holding court!

The problem came when I found that people sitting in extra chairs (pulled up to seat more guests) couldn't see me and unless I sat forward on the edge of the seat, I began to feel left out of the conversation.

If you can place a balloon chair in a corner where the sitter only looks directly out at the room I think it would be OK.  For me however, I never chose that chair again!

A friend of mine has two of them.  I think they're gorgeous.  When you're sitting in them, you can't really have a conversation with anyone to the side of you. 

  They look pretty, but they're not practical.

To be really honest, these call to much attention to themselves.  I think they overpower everything in the room.  But then that's me and I am very opinionated!  LOL!!!
