She displays seasonal plates on her sister's cool architectural plate rack. She considers her cherry countertops a homey touch, and likes the warmth.

A few extra shots I didn't have time to post yesterday--

Her color palette seems to really complement the woodsy setting. She said she loves moss green, paired with brown--

More of the green with brown, in the velvet chairs and their throw pillows. In summer, she slipcovers the chairs in a cotton ticking stripe-- fresh. In the background, pretty tall case clock and gold Federal mirror.
