AIRSTREAM MEETS POTTERY BARN

Didn't know the classic Airstream trailer company had a Pottery Barn version.

They collaborated with PB, and came up with a pleasant, bright interior--

The pillows and natural looking curtains do look Pottery Barn-y!

Pale walls and skylight--

Plenty of storage.  Love the wood cutting board, which covers the sink.

At night:

He's showing the handsome, ebonized wood table, which apparently is standard in the PB Airstream.

The twin bed version has room for an extra wardrobe--

But the queen-size looks so cozy--

There are even specially designed accessories--

Airstream, in any form, is pretty sleek!

Used on RV Trader, they run $106k-$174k.

Hope you own something to tow it! If not, add that to the price tag.

I've had 2 RV camping experiences and it's not for me🙃

Re: AIRSTREAM MEETS POTTERY BARN

Years ago, probably 50, we had an Airstream motorhome.  I loved traveling in it, two kids, dog and husband, quite an experience. I was young but got to see about 43 of the states!  Went to meets and rallies and saw top entertainment!

RVs/campers are a niche market. And I suspect that market is getting smaller. It used to be pretty economical. These days, assorted fees and expenses almost make it more expensive than staying in mid-range hotels. States require RVs and trailers to be registered and insured. Mid-range camp sites cost around $50 a night without extras. Add in the purchase cost or rental cost of an RV or camper, and the financial picture isn't great.

RVing (or camping period) is not for me....not even with Pottery Barn furnishings.

We have stayed in and traveled with an RV many times but never an Airstream.

I have always been drawn to them but my husband dislikes the look of them for some reason....I love the one shown and would stay in there for sure.

I traveled with my parents in the Rockies for many years in their motor home.  It was wonderful as we had so much fun and stayed in such beautiful places.  It was a sad day when they sold it.  I did all the driving the last few years as they became legally blind.

Re: AIRSTREAM MEETS POTTERY BARN

The decor is nice, much better than the usual RV cutsie stuff, but I would go crazy in an RV without slide outs.

We have two RV's.  The one we travel with is 28 feet, just like the Airstream shown, but the slide outs add a ton more room.

Airstreams also have those sloped ceilings that take up space.

They have a cult following and they are well built, but not practical to stay in more than a few days.

We have stayed in our 28 footer for more than a month at a  time.  I need more room, storage and cabinets than that Airstream has.
