For my birthday someone got me a beautiful BBW candle holder and candle (watermelon lemonade) It burned beautifully and smelled wonderful . Never used them before (my favorites are Crossroads, candleberry and Cheerful Giver). Anyway, wanted a purchase a fall/winter scent. Bought the Mashmallow fireside and burned it yesterday. Its wonderful with a great throw. Also, burned beautifully. Just ordered a pumpkin pedistal and chestnut candle Waiting for those. Does anyone else buy BBW candles and have favorite winter scents? thanks

Oh yes, I'm a big fan of these candles, but I mostly purchase them just for the fall and winter seasons.  The spring and summer scents tend to be too floral or fruity smelling to me, so I usually purchase candles from other companies at those times of year.  For fall, I currently have Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Cinnamon Pretzel Twist, Hot Cocoa and Cream, and The Original.  I also like Leaves and Autumn around this time of year.  For the holidays, I like Evergreen, Marshmellow Fireside, Winter and Fireside.

If you have Facebook, you should 'Like' their page, because you will get daily updates about sales.  They have a huge semi-annual sale around the first week in December during which the candles are on sale.  Last year they were $8.50 and with a $10 off $30 coupon that they send you via email, you could really stock up for the season.

I'm usually not a fan of gourmand scents, but the Cinnamon Pretzel Twist smells just like when you walk by an Auntie Anne's Pretzels in the mall, so I couldn't resist.  I picked up the Hot Cocoa and Cream, because it is so authentic, and I thought it would be good to burn on Thanksgiving morning when I'm prepping dinner and everyone is watching the parade.

I don't burn candles very often but one scent I always have on hand is "Tea and lemon" which was formerly "London calling".  It's not your traditional spice/winter scent but it's very "cozy".

I buy them when they are on sale.  I get them for about $7.50 to $8 each with the sale price and a $10 coupon, and I buy six at a time.

RIght now I am burning Harvest Gathering, which at think has been discontinued.  My very favorites are Leaves and Tis the Season. I always stock up with those scents.

My closet shelf has Lemon Verbena, Roasted Chestnuts and Cherries, Bergamot and Suede, Twisted Peppermint, Holiday, Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Winter, Fresh Balsam, 'Tis The Season, Black Pepper Bergamot, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Leaves and Marshmallow Peppermint.

I keep them in the bottom shelf of my linen closet and when I open the door, my hall way smells wonderful.

i just took inventory and made a list so that I am ready for their next big sale.

Re: BBW candles

[ Edited ]

I've bought BBW candles for years -- started when Slatkin made them.  Fall is usually my favorite season although I still have a bunch of Fall scents on hand.  Just went online and don't see as much as usual for this time of year.  Most of the time there are tons of pumpkin scents!  And I don't see much that is new this season.  Hot Cocoa and Cream was a favorite of mine last year.  Wish I had some coupons or I'd try and pick some of those up while they are on sale. It is already showing as out of stock online.

These are some of my favorite candles (along with Crossroads and Goose Creek).  My favorite Fall candles from Bath and Body Works are Pumpkin pecan waffles, Cider Lane and pumpkin apple with the pummpkin pecan waffle being my favorite.  Oh, and then tere is the salted carmel one too.   All so yummy.  I do not care fo the fruity and floral ones either.
