This weekend in Wisconsin, we willbe in the low 80's......I am sure this is our last hurrah at the very warm temps......This past week it has been 70's and sunny and beautiful, but foggy and cool in the early mornings, and after the sun goes down in the evening.....I will take it though, because for us we know Winter is right around the corner!

I caved and picked up a couple of Glade pumpkin and cider candles. I am waiting for the Slatkin fall candles to ship. I did start using fall Wallflowers from BBW.

It is Africa hot down here and I wish I could experience the cool air!

@flickerbulb  So glad that you are safe from Irma.  We'll send you some cool weather around December.  Smiley Happy

Thanks @lucymo! I am not complaining as I am lucky to have electricity and air! I have to give a huge shout out to FPL as they got the electricity back on in record time!

I dream of taking a trip to see the leaves change in Vermont one fine fall day!

@flickerbulb  I hope you get to go to VT sometime.  I don't think we'll have as much color here as normal since it's been so dry.  A lot of the leaves just dry up and fall off.

You are lucky to have power back on so soon.  I thought it would be weeks and it may be longer in some areas.

I'm in Ohio and our weather for the past couple of weeks has been cool. Well below normal temps.

I got a bee in my bonnet for fall and almost started to put out fall decor but decided to hold off.  Now, temps are warmer and it's more humid.  In fact, right now we are supposed to be anywhere from the upper 70's to mid-80's through next Friday, with the first day of fall having a predicted temp of 84.  LOL

I'm not burning candles.  I find I'm not much of a candle burner anymore.  Between my wall plug-ins and my Scentsy stuff, I don't really do candles.

I did change my wall plug-in to an apple/cinnamon scent that I love.  Everyone always comments about how nice the house smells when they come in and have that plug-in.

I also have some fall scents for my scentsy burner.

I rotate between scents almost everyday... and have been burning Cheerful Giver's-- Lemon Butter Pound Cake today. These candles have such a nice throw that I only have to burn one at a time, the whole house smells delicious without being overpowering.

Favorites for fall are Orange Cinnamon Clove, Salted Caramel, Juicy Apple, Honey Pear Cider, Hot Buttered Rum and Cranberry Pumpkin. (Yes, I have a bit of a stockpile)Smiley HappyHeart

@LIG1 Those scents sound yummy! Are they all by Cheerful Giver?

@CANDLEQUEEN@@ You described my part of Wisconsin perfectly (Fox Valley area).  Saturday will reach 85, but we open windows at night and things cool down. Time to set out those mums and pumpkins.
