This is one of those space that I first felt more or less neutral about but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. It's not my dream kitchen, but it is appealing. The view from those windows is a very nice water view and the elements, while not all would be my choices, are attractive and pulled together to create, in my opinion a very nice room. I like the effort made to coordinate the beams with the flooring. While some don't like the lights, I find them appealing. It's also important to keep in mind we aren't seeing the entire room, so I suspect there is additional counter and storage on the other side of the room, where one assumes the refrigerator resides. As noted before, I agree with those who would prefer not to have the sink in the island and while I might have chosen different bar stools, chairs and table, those selected work relatively nicely with the overall look of the room.
