I love that island, minus the sink.  Great size when you're baking.  Lots of work space for that and I do a lot of baking in my galley kitchen.  Former home had an island close to that size.

It has a very comfortable feel to it! The island would be incredible for cooking/baking. I certainly wouldn't want my main sink to be in the island. I've contemplated if I'd use a small bar sink in an island (for food prep and what not). But that's in my fantasy dream kitchen where I have a sub zero fridge, Viking range and a butler pantry. A girl can dream, lol!

I like the island, but there’s too much white for me in the room. A darker backsplash & a creamier wall color would suit me better. I’m not loving the chairs at the island or the patterned ones at the table. Lovely views.

DH and I just got back from a week long motor home trip 

to an area that has always appealed to us. We wanted to look at the model homes and the gated golf community. There were two models that this picture reminded me of, that we liked. Very bright with lots of natural light, and white kitchens. 
We may have seriously considered having one built, until we looked at building sites. There were none left that appealed to us. So, the search continues, but we are having fun and taking our time. 
I feel like Dorothy when I get home from a trip sometimes, and I find myself saying there no place like home. I really do like my home and maybe we will just stay right here.🥰

Love this.  Also looks like it may be a lake property!  I would probably go for a crazier color on the chairs around the table but this whole scenario is not a deal breaker for me.  ETA:  I think the lights are a little oversized.

I never understood the attraction of a large (spacious) kitchen!

Just too much space to have to keep clean.  

I have a tiny galley kitchen ... perfect size.

I like it, but I would change the chairs around the island and the hanging lights.
