I love hearing about other people's art.  I like the contrast of abstracts combined with antiques, but I have a number of traditional prints as well...  Nothing that I have is rare or expensive.

I have a large, abstract sort of Cubist type print in living room, a numbered 'giclee' of jazz singer Bessie Smith which is semi-abstract, a moody autumn landscape, and a hazy, semi abstract blue bay with boats...

Maybe my favorites are a set of four little water colors of street scenes in Paris that my Mother had framed for me.  They are hung together, and immediately transport me over there when I look at them.

We have a variety of art. A Monet reproduction, a Norman Rockwell print, landscapes, florals, prints with animals, etc. We have a few metal art pieces and 3D shadow box pieces too.

The 2 most unique things we have are an oil painting done by a friend of our first dog, Wilma, who passed away in 2016, and a large panoramic canvas print of the CA coastline made from a photo we took when we vacationed there.

Blissfully NONE in this house!  I love not having things on the wall.  I am enjoying the peaceful look of this house with minimum things.

We have a lot of art from us and from mom and I just don't care to see it any more.  Those days are gone, the people who had them and the houses where they hung are gone, and I'm happy to move on since that is my path now.

It's stuffed in the back of all the closets.  Woman Very Happy

I have several originals from local artists in the towns I own homes in.  Mostly pictures of waves and the beaches, but other familiar sights, too.

I also have framed photographs a dear friend took and he, too, was very talented.  Many of the photos were of a cottage we once owned.  He passed away a month ago, and as sad as I am to think he's gone, I'm so happy and proud to have these momentos.
