I don't currently have a project to work on at my sewing/craft club so I have been coloring instead.Actually, it is much more relaxing than sewing anything, because when I'm sewing I can make tragic mistakes when distracted by conversation. However, coloring mistakes are easily remedied with an eraser because I use colored pencils.

I bought lots of books and received some nice ones as gifts. Most recently I purchased the Bible that was featured on MB's anniversary show. Haven't received it yet. With all the books, I don't know if I have colored one thing. Also bought a bunch of markers and colored pencils. Really want to use them, but I never seem to find the right time. When I stop, I'm usually too tired for another project. Maybe someday.

Have a beautiful day!

I've been coloring small items like bookmarks and note cards. I like them because they are useful and don't sit around gathering dust. I use the notecards for thank you notes and place a bookmark in books I am gifting, lending, or donating.

I colored last night for the first time in a long time.  I've tried pencils, markers and gel pens.  The pens are my favorite. Dare I say, I have tons of all 3? (and have spent a small fortune)

I am still working on my first 5 coloring books I bought from HSN in the set they offered as a TSV. I really enjoy coloring. I tried markers but found I prefer colored pencils - the colors are softer, they don't bleed thru the page and they can be erased.

@151949

I am coloring away here in SW GA!  It is a wonderful relaxing hobby for me.

I use a clipboard and can color in my recliner with TV or Radio on.

Recently I purchased a 50Count of PRANG color pencils at WalMart and like them a lot. I usually use the CRAYOLA 50Count box of color pencils, out of stock and tried the PRANG

I do have a set of 5x7color books and pencils in a flat tin by Anna Griffin, good for travel!  <G>

Found  *The Secret Garden* and  *The Enchanted Forest* on sale which are very detailed and magical color books. I prefer to cut the pages out w Xacto knife to put on my clipboard. Some color books do not have perforated pages. <pout>

I keep a lot of my finished art works in clear document holders in a notebook.

My 75yo Aunt is who prompted me to try this coloring hobby, she adores it too.

Keep Calm and Color On,

CAT

@151949

I haven't been lately but I do think of it occasionally. Life has just been very busy. I've got some nice coloring books (and my boss gave me a coloring calendar!) that were gifts and plenty of pencils, etc. so I'll do more of it sometime soon.

Yes, I did just go back to it this last week as a matter of fact.

I stopped but this reminds me to start again.  I got busy but wouldn't mind doing it once in a while.
