Yesterday we saw some ants in our guest BR - not the red biting ones but just tiny little black ones. So - ok I vacuumed them up then today we had more in some other places when we got up this morning. So i also vacuumed those up and DH went to the hardware and got some spray and some Terro traps, which I think are awesome for getting rid of ants. But there are two things about these ants that are pretty weird. One - we just had the place sprayed for Termites last week -preventative - we don't have termites - but wouldn't you think that would have killed ants? and when a I got out the hampers to sort our laundry to wash the clothes were covered - and I'm not exaggerating they were all covered with ants. They were mostly in the BR and all over our laundry - nothing in the kitchen. Is there an ant species that are attracted to sweaty clothes? I have never seen that before. We had to rinse everything in the stationary tub to get the ants off before we washed them. I also threw away the vacuum bag out in the dumpster in case they were still alive in there. Since we are campers ants are nothing new to us but these were in such odd places.
