A friend paid $700.00 to get her mother's house cleaned, just to get it ready for showing.  I doubt if any real estate sales person around here would shoulder that amount.  What if the house doesn't sell?

I've sold two homes and left them broom clean.  The time line was set by my employer.  I was given the bare minimum of time.  I had to clean prior to the movers coming.  As they emptied each room, I'd be behind them vacuuming.  I was on the road an hour after the moving truck left.  If I didn't, I wouldn't be at the new house when the truck arrived.  It was stressful.

It's only a couple miles from here to our new house so I assume when the moving truck leaves one of us will have to stay here to sweep and close up while the other one follows the movers to our new home.
