Alternatives for Christmas Decorating

Ladies check out Big Lots for Christmas decorations. I got an email from them showing some of the items they offer & it is so much less than ordering or shopping at other stores. They do have online ordering if you can't find it in your store. I found out that different items go to different stores. Not everything that is advertised online is sold in your local stores, but it's still worth a trip to go check it out.

I agree. I bought two lighted flocked smaller trees for my FP there last year. The prices are very attractive there!

Going thru my Xmas decs and plugged in the trees--they still work beautifully which is more than I can say for the Bethlehem lights products I bought at the Q.

FYI - Another Option: Check your local thrift store for gently used Christmas items. Our local store (run by American Rescue Workers) always has a display of holiday items (fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.). They already have their Christmas decorations and other items on display. I purchased a beautiful Santa there last week for $2.50. I have a collection of Santas and will add this gently used one to my collection. I also got two large mugs for 50 and 75 cents a piece; love the large mugs for my morning coffee. It appears they were never used.

That's the problem with b&m stores, especially discount stores. All that running around from store to store "hoping" you luck into what you are looking for. Nope. I gave that up years ago. My time is too precious for that.
