@ALRATIBA. I saw this online and thought of you because it looks complicated.  It's an utterly useless doodad but is kind of cute.   Would it be hard to do?

So cute!  Even has her standard hand bag.

@Kachina624

Actually not useless, since it's a tea cozy. Keeps the tea in the pot from getting cold. 😉 But I agree that it looks complicated.

@shoesnbags.  It's incredibly detailed but I don't own a teapot and seldom drink tea or coffee.

@Kachina624

That's adorable.  We have a group of women here who meet at our community center once a week .... they make things like this (called amigurumi) for charity.

I don't have much interest in things like this.  I prefer to make sweaters and blankets.

If you are a semi-experienced knitter and comfortable reading patterns, you should have no problem.

Check out the website:  amigurumi dot com to see some patterns.

@Kachina624  I had a feeling that was the case.  Smiley Wink Anyone who's not a tea drinker wouldn't realize that is a very detailed tea cozy.  But aside from being decorative like this one, they really do work to keep your tea warm.

I  think it is adorable and it looks more fussy than complicated---my DD taught herself how to knit and crochet and she just made me a cotton open weave shopping bag-----the kind with long straps and looks like a fish net----and she has done tiny soft animals and all sorts of scaves and hats and mittens/ gloves and socks too. I nevr got that type of creative gene--my mom however, was an amazing knitter--she knit my Barbie doll many clothes and all are in wool. beautiful things!!
