Today, as a Lunchtime Special, a Roto Duster is being offered at $10.80, plus $6.72 S&H. Now I do enjoy a bargain, but with only 7 reviews that are one star, how can this be offered. How can they sell this JUNK!!!???

The q never stops selling a VERY low review item...instead, just pushes inventory til it's gone...just lowering the price til it sells. Even with "as is", items, there are some that are "defective/bad"...not just gently used. I have been pretty lucky, but did get a few bad ones too.

The Q knows there are customers that don't bother reading reviews...and my guess, counts on those to buy the bargain and be too lazy to return the product. Keep doing what you are doing...read reviews and make a common sense decision Smile

Good answer Susan Louise. You'll never know how many times I've been tempted to buy an item only to check reviews and change my mind. My husband always says when you have time to think about something, you'll probably decide against it. Wise man.

My guess is that they just want to get rid of them. They know the reviews stink and don't want anymore returns on them. So, they make them a "bargain" and hope that no one will notice the poor reviews...

I was thinking of buying until I started reading the reviews. A lot of the merchandise they put on the lunchtime specials have low reviews. I guess that is why it is there.

And how could they have the nerve to charge what they do or S & H!!! It's three quarters of the purchase price.

Beejene, my thoughts exactly. As it is the S&H is out of sight at most places, but many do offer free or reduced S&H if you spend a certain amount. I know QVC has many employees, and being on TV is expensive, but it's still out of sight. I sometimes wonder if they "included" S&H in the price, we'd be more apt to purchase. Maybe not!!!
