Believe it or not I have a furniture store.  I have access to these beds but I don't stock them so I have never even seen one set up. 

I think that is what we would have to do is box it in like the motel beds.

Poor Gracie though, under the bed is her safe "cave".  LOL  We have beds in the other bedrooms though.

Go to a store and look at them set up.  Keep in mind they are incredibly heavy.  You can see from the construction that if one of the legs go "off" that part can really crash to the ground.  My husband put wood blocks under there to more fully brace the bed up.  Other than that, we like it.  The cats go under there all the time.
