Adding Color To a Neutral Room

Were they successful in doing that in this room in your opinion?

Well...it is a neutral room and it does have some things in it that have color, so yes, guess they were successful. It would not be my way of adding color, however. I would have to remove that coffee table. It is too dark and too big imho. The only thing I really like is the chinoiserie.

I think the striped sofa is hidious.  I would rather have seen a linen color maybe or simply another light color with texture rather than stripes.

I don't think enough color or perhaps the right colors were enough.  I don't see much appeal in the furnishings with the exception of the two larger chairs.

Not enough color!  The couch, the rug, the shelves offer potential...

@jubilant  I would need more color.

Sort of? I would like it more if there was more color in the furnishings.

@on the bay   I was thinking that same thing.  Just doing it in the smaller object decor seems a little contrived.  A (made up) word  that comes to mind would be "doll housey".
