I purchased this product because it looks easy to work with and has a very big numbers and also you can utilized it to charge your cell phone.

The person who brought the item to QVC was very excited about the product and described the functions by pointing the location of the buttons and where to install one the parts, UNFORTUNATELLY, she forgot to mentioned that in order to "charged a cellphone, your cellphone needes to be able to be charged  WIRELESSLEY , meaning, placing the cellphone on the WIRELESS part of the Acurite product, your phone will started charging however, your cellphone NEEDED TO BE A WIRELESSLEY phone, and that was not mentioned, in fact you have to have an adapter if you have an ANDROID cellphone, so the only cellphone that will work have to be an APPLE phone.

Also, when you asked to register your prodcut on the Acurite website, you cannot find the product number and without that you cannot move forward to complete the submission of your registration. I read the instructions page that came with the product, it listed a NUMBER as the prodcut number but that was not the correct number.

Again, DISCLOSURE, DISCLOSURE when you are going to introduce the product, you will sell more and have less RETURNS, I sent my back, my cellphone is not an APPLE phone.

Thank you.

Samsung has at least one I know of that can use this.  Might check your manual to be sure.

It does work with Android phones, but only models that support wireless charging.

If you're looking for a good quality weather station/monitor, w/o a phone charging station, I would get a Lacrosse. They are expandable and very reliable.

@Nusta

we recently replaced our totaled van with a 2024 Subaru Outback, top of the line.  ( There were no 2023's in the color we wanted. )

DH went through all the options and eliminated ones we had no need for....one of the more expensive items eliminated was the $400+ wireless device charger because none of our devices can be charged wirelessly.

Loved the fact that the Touring model included a CD player !!!

we have two Lacrosse and they are great. Simpler one in the bathroom-wallmount and big numbers for time w/ in/out temps. Living room one is fancier with picture of clouds, etc. they last for years.
