Thank you lovestoteach!  We were supposed to have started this week but now it is supposed to be next week.  I can't wait for it to be done.  I will definitely post pictures.  It's a small bathroom so nothing major but it kinda will be from the way it looks now.

It looks absolutely gorgeous to me.  If you and DH are crazy about it now, think what you will be when it is all done.  Best wishes for you during this Christmas season.

I say go for the accent tiles! We remodeled our bathroom a few years ago.  I picked out accent tiles for the shower. I used a cream stone color tile with small accent tiles in various shades of browns. The accent tiles run horizontally across all 3 shower walls about 2/3 way up. I like the way it adds a bit of color to the cream stone tiles and looks great with the dark cherry wood vanity.

Thank you Wilma!  Your bathroom sounds beautiful!  I think they add a special touch and I think the key is to go with something that is timeless.  Your vanity sounds really pretty.  Today was day two and the plumbing is ready to go for Monday and they will start tiling.  He says I should at least have a shower by Tuesday evening.  I sure hope so but it is one hot mess right now.  The alcove is cut out as well for the shampoo and all that stuff.  I'm adding the accent tile a little above eye level right above the alcove.  So much dust and all I have done is cough if I go upstairs, so I am trying to stay away from it.  I have bad allergies anyway so it's not good.  Looking forward to Monday and hopefully I can actually feel like I am seeing progress.  This is the dirty work phase Cat Tongue
