Re: AMERICAN RENTER IN LONDON

Not really my style, but it's very pretty and cozy.

I'm surprised she was able to put up wallpaper and do that stenciling in a rental - I suppose she got the owner's/landlord's permission (?)

I like it except for the bed that resembles a layer cake, no head or foot board.

That too small picture on the wall at the top of the bed bothers me.

Re: AMERICAN RENTER IN LONDON

Hi, @Oznell !  I talked to her last Friday and she and her husband and some family had just returned from a holiday during which they visited Sandringham and other locales.

They are living on land on which there were several barns that were converted to human living quarters.  I haven't seen pictures yet as she's waiting to get it fully "moved in."  But one of their neighbors in another of the barn conversions owns the local pub.  Idyllic in my mind plus walking trails close by and she mentioned a Renaissance Festival coming up in a nearby village.

I will take her up on her offer to visit.
