A question for those who bought the 5" & 7" Ivory Luminara Candles

Before I post my review, I want to know if it's just my 7" Luminara candle or if others are the same. The sides of my candle are completely smooth, like the smooth CI candles, however, at the point where the top melted rim meets/joins the side, both the rim & top wax are not smooth -- more irregular/unsmooth in texture -- call it 'brushed' for lack of a better terminology. The issue I have is not the change in the wax texture as this is negligible & isn't noticeable at all unless you are looking & touching. But, where the smooth side wax hits the rim of the melted top, I have an obvious thin circular black sm*t (insert letter 'u') line around the whole candle & some black sm*t on the rim itself. Does anyone else's candle have this on their candle? Although improbable, it's almost like the the black sm*t line & change in wax texture is because the top piece was added on to the body of the candle after the fact -- like they are 2 separate pieces that were merged.

You know how you get what I call 'black sm*t' when you bang a candle & the area turns black or if you handle a candle with unclean hands & any dirt & oils from you hands become embedding in the wax or if you have any dust/debri on a candle & instead of brushing it off lightly, you accidently press it into the candle where it lives forever?

TIA!
